gps student attendance management system
During my time as a student, I noticed a recurring challenge in the traditional attendance-taking methods used by lecturers. When I got admitted and started attending lectures, I realized that lecturers often relied on a manual system to take attendance as a way of encouraging students to take their studies seriously. However, this system was time-consuming, prone to errors, and inefficient. Motivated by a desire to solve this problem, I developed a research project titled “GPS Students’ Attendance System,” which leverages technology to simplify and automate the process of tracking student attendance.
This project focuses on using GPS technology to create a reliable, real-time attendance system that reduces administrative workload and enhances accuracy. By integrating tools such as Flutter for user interface development and Firebase for database management, the system offers seamless operation while ensuring data security and privacy. The GPS Students’ Attendance System provides a scalable solution for educational institutions, improving the efficiency of attendance management and contributing to academic monitoring and overall institutional productivity.
